The expertise center for cybersecurity in healthcare is looking for a Cyber Security Business Consultant. Their mission is to make healthcare digitally safer by making healthcare institutions more resilient against cyber criminals. The team consists of 25 employees in which personal responsibility and an informal atmosphere are present.

About You:

  • Work experience in the field of cybersecurity/information security
  • HBO work/thinking level
  • Drive to make the healthcare sector digitally safer
  • Knowledge of developments in healthcare (in the field of process, technology and legislation)
  • Self-organizing ability to share their responsibility to further develop products and services
  • Team spirit to contribute to ‘special’ projects
  • Communicative and social skills, you are a customer-friendly interlocutor who can make connections on multiple levels within and outside the company’s network


  • As a Business Consultant, you are the first point of contact and maintain the relationship with the participating healthcare institutions. You proactively enter into discussions with the institutions you serve, you manage the service portfolio and monitor the quality of the services.
  • CISOs in the healthcare sector are your primary discussion partner and you build a strong relationship with them. You share your knowledge and expertise. You can then share relevant current events around cybersecurity in an online webinar or a presentation on location.
  • You analyse and answer questions from ‘your’ healthcare institutions. You actively maintain contact with them. That means you’ll be on the road a lot, although some of the appointments will be via video calls.
  • You help the institutions to form a community where relevant information is easily exchanged.
  • You translate the questions and needs into specific improvement (advice) of their products and services. You think with them about interesting studies and possibilities to make the services even better. In this way you actively contribute to the further development of the organization.
